World Visualization DayFirst Attempt At Designing A Logo ...

I am a terrible logo designer, but the above is the preliminary logo for now. The look of this website is also just a first try, and certainly subject to change. I welcome any input on how to improve the site and the logo.
I have high-res and vector versions of the cheering crowd (I actually paid a few dollars for that), so this is available if somebody wants to do something better.

I think this needs some work. Principles and goal should come before a logo anyway.
I think helping people see the "usefulness of visualization, and to learn how to use it."
could be more exciting. How about seeing the world in a different light. Or making the invisible visible. Something with more meaning than use.
